Shomron (Samaria) Wine Region – Shomron stretches from Mount Carmel through the Sharon Plain into Ramat Menashe. This is where modern Israeli winemaking was reborn in the late 19th century, with Baron Edmond de Rothschild’s first vineyard plantings that laid the foundation for Israel’s wine industry.
